If any good can come of the debacle of the VA hospitals like Walter Reed, it is this. For this is but a small taste of what "universal healthcare" is. You send in your papers and wait...wait...wait until you are the next-most-damaged-patient and allowed entry, then you are shuffled through asap in order to make room for the next. ... right, I agree, not everyone deserves free healthcare, and we should only treat those who can pay for it so as we may be able to get into the clinic exactly when we want to.

Or we can try solving the "problem" on a national level by hiring more doctors if the healthcare system were to come into effect.

I can argue either side on this really. The Earth is over-populated. If you can't make enough to survive, then you probably shouldn't. Sad but true, sad but true.

No no, not kill people, just stop helping them so much to live. I think our unemployment line in this country needs some major re-vamp.

Nicaragua? the place where US Hospitals send countless free mercy aid missions? sure the average family in nicaragua spends 18$ a year on healthcare, but with the average family pulling in just over 40$ a month, and a 30% unemployment, nicaragua isnt a fine example of anything. Free healthcare works in very small countries, cuba is better example
