True, A stuatue of anyone anatomically correct is going to make the catholic watchdog group mad, but im pretty Sure Jesus did have a penis, the artist's interpretation could be taken either way. I'd be one to think the Romans actually took the loincloth just to further chide him, but it was removed from the bible for being...too graphic (as many things do seem to go missing from the bible.) It's a powerful statement, if the loincloth is gone, and he is completely without dignity, this makes the sacrifice more profound does it not? Taken either way it doesnt matter if the artist intended to poke fun at religion or not, what matters is whether you let it rile you. Catholic being 'outraged' just served to show how intolerant we really are. -Mat
