I thought this was a beautiful story. I love ChitoTachi in general, and this was a very nice take on them. How intriguing that the reincarnation thing wasn't just Chitose being Chitose, but something Kippei felt as well. But it's hard to say whether it would be nicer to know more about that or to let it remain a mystery - either way, well done on leaving your readers thoughtful!

This is absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed your language, especially your usage of the present tense to broach reincarnation. The past is all built up in the present and it keeps the story hanging on who they are rather than who they were.
