The animal I wanted to hurtThere was a mouse in my cottage that was building the mousemahal above my head every night since the spring. I have never wanted to be violent to an animal before, but this mouse was pushing it. I could never get a good night sleep, and with the assistance of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I made a hole in my ceiling. Thank god ( Read more... )

I thought about that. But if I'm going to hire a cat assassin, I might as well just kill them myself, which I don't want to do. I did get a couple of humane traps, so that should do it.

"In the Beginning ..." is a cultural history of computers and operating systems (more or less). "Snow Crash" and "The Diamond Age" are cyberpunk SF novels about a wacky-ass future where we don't have scarcity and nanotechnology allows people to do wacky-ass things, such as install guns in their foreheads.

having a gun in your forehead would be freaking awesome. espicially in traffic situations.

also, on cats: the cat might make an example and kill a mouse or two, but then mice tend to stay away once they smell the cat. they then attack your catless cottagemates insteads

I agree. Especially a microscopic one that fires when you yell "HUT!"

I've also heard that mice can will even flee at the smell of cat piss. I'm not sure how one might acquire this, but I'm on the market.

so....I got the money, all I need to do is to BUY the turntables. I've also already have ideas about somethings I wanna mix, but that'll have to wait till I start beat mixing and all that other basic stuff.

What kind? where you buying them? Make sure you get a good deal (aka don't go to Mass Street Music).

Yeah, now you gotta start mixing. It's good you're going with analog. I know a lot of people (like myself) who do some mixing on the computer, but it's really hard to be original. I think turntablism, with some practice, goes a long ways.

Suffice to say, I'm excited.
