Weekend Wrap-Up
Friday: They sent us home early on Friday from work because of the holiday so I ran home and started getting ready to go out. I had a meeting with a Director for a film I am going to be in. I thriller horror movie. I am so excited. The script is in the works and he liked my personality so much that he decided to make a new character just for me. I am the lucky one, I get to help write my own character. Woo! We met at the Red Garter and had a couple drinks, talked about the plot and the whole idea and funding and what not. 9 o'clock rolls around and my friends are calling me "Where are you, Amanda!?" Im on my way to the cathouse! Because Rob is such a dear, and he knew I had no money, he paid for me to get in and paid for my drinks. 4 Vodka Cranberries later I see Rob talking to the Cocaine Shooters waitress....next thing I know, he drops the foam holder with 40 shooters in front of me. Dig in he says... WOOOO! I think I may have had 10 or so....it was awesome. Rob got me a long island and he knows the bartender so he always gets hooked up. It's bad enough that the Long Islands come in Caraff's there but Rob get a QUADRUPLE Long Island and hands it to me. Before I know it...I'm, going nuts dancing up in the cage and going wild...I was so shitfaced. I had to leave my car at the bar because I got too drunk to drive.
Saturday: Woke up aroun 11 with my eyes bloodshot and dry and hungover as hell...Renee dropped me and Carrie off at my car and we went home to change for the BBQ. Equipt with suits and sun tanning oil, we show up and the drinking shall commence! 1pm and Ive already got a beer in my hand laying my the pool and just freaking enjoying life! Snuf came to the BBQ too and that made me so happy. Finally, he got to meet my two bestest guy friends and that meant a lot. Not only did he get to meet who I spend a lot of time with but I got him to get in the pool and socialize and just plain have fun! And we did have fun. Burgers, Brats, hot dogs and Jalapeno Poppers. So yummy....... Snuf and I left around 10 to go to the drive-in theater. We saw "RV" with Robin Williams. Very very funny....especially seeing it as an experienced camper, it was hilarious. It was a double feature so we stuck around and watched "The Divinci Code" which I was very suprised with. It was a very very very very good movie. I was impressed. it was awesome. I have never read the book but if the book is better than the movie than damn it I wanna read the book!!!
Sunday: Slept in a little bit. Hung out with Snuf and relaxed. It was day. Evening rolled around and Jes calls me. I forgot about the Masquerade Ball at Asylum. I got myself all gussied up and met her at her house, painted on my mask and beleive it or not took a couple shots of Tequila. I don't drink tequila but Jes showed me a way to take a shot and not taste it. And it worked. We walked to Asylum and to my suprise, it was not that busy inside. I expected there to be a hell of a lot more people. But there was plenty of elbow room and tons of dancing room and lots of beautiful people all dressed up in cool outfits. I got hit on a couple times and I realised the true power of the fake wedding band I have a big shiny sparkly fake diamond ring that I usually wear on my right ring finger but these couple guys wouldn't stop and get the hint that I wasn't interested so I put it on my left hand. As soon as they saw it, they went away. It was awesome. I'm gonna use that trick more often. :D
Monday: Laid back and hung out and vegged on the couch with Snuf. I came down with this wretched cold and my nose would NOT stop running. It was so annoying. But regardless, we went to the store and bought some food to make Calzones with. He's such a great cook. It was so yummy. We sat on the couch and watched X-Men 1 and 2 and a bunch of That 70's Show and some other random shows. It was cool to just cuddle on the couch with my hunny and not have to do or go anywhere. He helped me update and fix my computer so I can have my webcam and so that it will work faster. YAY! Thank you Baby! I went from a half ass version of windows 98 to widows XP in one day! woot woot.....moving up in the world I am.
