April 28, 2007 Kikujani (Subaru, Yasu, Ryo, Ohkura) Part 3
Yasu: Alright, next one. A letter from Shibutani Subaru to Ohkura Tadayoshi. “Haikei, Ohkura Tadayoshi-sama. If you were me, what would you do?”
All: HAHAHAHAHA
Subaru: What would you do? Ohkura. Hey, Ohkura! Ohkura? What would you do if you were me?
Ohkura: Hahaha.
Subaru: Yo, Ohkura. Ohkura. Hey, Ohkura. Yo?
Ohkura: You want an answer?
Subaru: Yo, you? What if you were me?
Yasu: We get it. You don’t have to say it a million times. We hear you.
Ryo: What would you do, tell us.
Ohkura: Hmm… what would I do…
Subaru: For example, if you were me and you were in K8, what would you do? How would you go about?
Ohkura: Hmm, I guess…
Subaru: How would you go about? Like work. I don’t know what to do, recently.
All: Hahahaha!
Yasu: Ehhhhhh! Ehhhhh!
Subaru: How would you go about if you were me?
Ohkura: If I were Subaru-kun,
Subaru: Yeah yeah, yeah. Think that way.
Ohkura: I will “boke” a lot.
Subaru: Yeah, yeah, okay. That’s fine. Radio, variety shows, yeah.
Ohkura: I’ll try to be funny.
Subaru: Try to be funny? Okay okay, and then?
Ohkura: I’ll sing a lot,
Subaru: Okay okay, that’s normal. You see, I want to hear something reeeeallly bad (well, there is no direct translation for the word “egetsunai” so I’ll just leave it at “bad,” haha)
Yasu: What the. What the heck does that supposed to mean.
Ohkura: What do you mean?
Subaru: Bad, well… umm… how would you go about? If it were Ohkura. Ohkura, Ohkura, what would you do?
Ohkura: Hmm, I guess, umm I’ll sing.
Subaru: Sing? Where?
Ohkura: I’ll try singing wherever.
Subaru: Wherever like, even on the streets?
Yasu: That’ll be very disturbing now, wouldn’t it.
Ohkura: Umm… why is the question so vague?
Yasu: Hahaha.
Subaru: How about during days off from work? What would you do if you were me? (What the heck is he trying to get at? Haha)
Ohkura: During my days off? Well, I guess I’ll hang out with the guys, and then even when they say “I’m going to go call my buddy up,” I won’t make a disgusted face.
Subaru: Me? No, I won’t.
Ohkura: Well, then I’ll make more friends by meeting new people, and…
Subaru: But you see? That’s it. A friend of a friend is kinda like blah, isn’t it?
Ohkura: Hahaha! Well, you might become good friends, you know?
Subaru: I know, I know. But…
Ohkura: Try to overcome being a shy person, then?
Subaru: Ahh, that is true too.
Yasu: Should we fix that.
Ohkura: Yeah, try to fix that, and…
Subaru: Well, Ryo and Ohkura are shy people too, you know.
Ryo: I’m really shy.
Subaru: But you have friends, why is that?
Ryo: Well, friends… but I have very few. I probably don’t even have 10.
Subaru: Well, that’s enough…
Yasu: They are very good friends though, right?
Subaru: Yeah, yeah.
Ohkura: I probably have like… three?
Ryo: Hahaha that’s so few!
Ohkura: Hey, it’s no laughing matter!
All: Hahaha.
Ohkura: How many do you have, Subaru-kun?
Subaru: Friends? I have… six.
Ohkura: That’s a lot.
Yasu: …and who are these six people?
Subaru: …You guys.
Yasu: Hahaha, I knew it! I knew it. Well, the members are important friends, too, right?
Subaru: The other day, I called Ohkura. I had the day off so I asked him if he wanted to go shopping together. He said no.
Yasu: Are you serious.
Subaru: He said he had to see his friend. That’s fine that he said no, you know? It’s just that I was like “Oh, he has friends…!”
Yasu: Of course he does! Oh you thought he didn’t have any!
Subaru: I was looking at my phone and in the end, well, actually, Ohkura came to the top of my head. That’s the only choice I had.
Yasu: You had nothing else?
Subaru: What do you mean?
Yasu: You had no other friends?
Ohkura: I sent him a message saying “Sorry, I’m really sorry. I just made plans with a friend.” He didn’t respond.
Yasu: That’s him getting depressed, haha.
Ohkura: I totally didn’t receive anything back.
Yasu: Didn’t you get a bit worried?
Ohkura: Yeah, I did.
Yasu: Right?
Ohkura: I thought he got a bit mad.
Subaru: No, I didn’t get mad. I did my best to express how I felt.
Yasu: Haha, not returning the message is the best you could do.
Ryo: Telling him that you were hurt.
Ohkura: Why did you tell me that for the first time now on radio?
Subaru: I don’t know why I said it. I don’ know why I said it. I don’t know why.
Ohkura: Okay, I understand. …I like you.
Subaru: …Yeah.
All: Hahaha!
Yasu: You don’t dislike that, eh?
Ryo: Haha, that’s fine with you.
All: Hahahaha
Yasu: Haha, well well… we have talked a lot haven’t we.
Subaru: Oh is it the end already?
Yasu: Yes it is.
Three: Oh really.
Yasu: That was a lot of fun, wasn’t it?
Three: Yeah!
Yasu: That was Kikujani Special segment, “Haikei, ----- sama!”
(Then they announce the five listeners who were chosen as “Eco-Ranger,” but I’m going to skip that part.)
Yasu: So, we should be more careful and be more friendly to the environment, okay?
Subaru: Yasu, Yasu.
Yasu: Yeah?
Subaru: Thank you.
Yasu: Hahaha, you’re nice.
Ryo: Seriously, thank you.
Yasu: You’re welcome.
Ohkura: I really think so too.
Yasu: Haha, thank you. I’m happy.
Subaru: Yasu, Yasu, thank you, really. Thank you.
Yasu: Yeah, I really want to thank you all, too.
Ryo: Nandeyanen, if you say that… I don’t know what to say anymore… (sounding like he’s about to cry… of course pretending)
Subaru: Yasu, I’m being serious. Seriously. Accept it <3
Yasu: O, Okay…
Three: (Keeps on saying) Thank you. Thank you Yasu.
Subaru: Yasu, Yasu. Thank you. Thank you for everything til now.
Yasu: ….Wait, that sounds like I’m leaving!! Stop it!! Haha, well well, it’s time to say good bye (the end of the show) now, and…
Ohkura & Subaru: Yeah.
Ryo: Wait a second, is this my last time seeing you, Yasu?
Yasu: Umm, just today. Just today. I’m sure I’ll see you tomorrow.
Ryo: Oh, just today?
Yasu: Yes.
Ohkura: What if it really was good bye?
Yasu: What was that?
Ohkura: If.
Yasu: Oh are we talking about Ifs again? Well, if it really were a good bye… I think I will never end this. I will go on with this radio show forever.
Ohkura: Thank you.
Ryo: Yo, if you say that, I think I’m really about to cry.
Subaru: Yeah, Yasu, don’t say that even as a joke. Seriously, don’t say that.
Ryo: Seriously, stop it… (both sounding as if they are about to cry)
Yasu: I won’t disappear from you guys, forever. I will forever be in your hearts.
All: HAHAHAHA
Ryo: That’s a real good bye then! Are you stupid?!
Yasu: Hahaha, anyway. Our last song will be “Explosion.” This was brought to you by K8 Yasuda Shota,
Ryo: Nishikido Ryo,
Subaru: Shibutani Subaru,
Ohkura: and Ohkura Tadayoshi.
All: Bye bye!!
