sure, progressive politics would like to see some beneficial influence on society. but do you want to talk authoritarian(esque) propaganda? that I'm afraid most people would liken more with your precious conservative policies.

but what we're really talking about here is cookie monster. the left is not trying to combat obesity by destroying a childhood figure. it's just a few stupid people who are obsessed with gluttony. but if you want to make it partisan, those people are probably of the religious right, of the "in-his-image" variety who believe in the 7 sins.

when it comes down to it, it's cookie monster, and having a political argument about cookie monster is just ridiculous.
