I love how you show that Reid gets Luke (just like he eventually did in canon) and sees all the strength and goodness in him. Even better, you show that Reid believes Luke to be his equal (and he felt that way in canon too)

Yeah, so much of what was wrong between Luke and Noah was that Noah both didn't get Luke (and didn't seem to have that burning to to reallyget to know him either) and that Noah patronized Luke constantly.

i think this is the best chapter yet. with all the devastation around them, they still find a way to celebrate. and, celebrate they did. anne marie and terry gave both luke and reid some very good advice here. hope they take it. luke and reid have really opened up to each other. they just seem to "get" each other, don't they? love the fact that reid was dressing for luke, even if he didn't really know it. the attraction is there. but, they want to act on it, but both are realists. luke does love noah. he's trying desperately to hold on to that. luke snyder is not a cheater. but, it must be so hard. being that close to someone who actually 'gets" him. and, reid may bed a lot of things, but a home wrecker isn't one of them. i fell that reid is holding back. holding back because of luke's relationship. however, it doesn't stop either one of them from wanting and needing.

Yeah, I do love this part of the story, when they are so drawn to each other, and they both get each other, but there these reasons to not go there...but still they love being together...
