Bam-ba-Lam

Somebody in the restaurant this morning kept singing that Black Betty song over and over (well, just the catchy part) and then the damn thing got stuck in my head all day. I've been trying to shake it. It's just not going away. I'll lay awake in bed until 4:00 am hearing it over and over ( Read more... )

heh, trust me, dude. i know all about the "i'll say something in a friendly manner to this person i vaguely know and watch as they run away in terror, clutching their purse and squirting pepper spray over their shoulder". i remember when i was still in school there was this short little hispanic girl in one of my classes. cute little thing. i wasn't quite sure if she remembered me or not, but i saw her at the rec center one day and went up and said hello and asked how her break was and stuff. for the first 30 seconds i saw a terror in her eyes known only to those characters in h p lovecraft stories. after she realized i wasn't going to pummel her and steal her purse, i think she calmed down a bit. then i would see her in class and she would remind me of how scared she "used" to be of me. as much as i liked that she had started to talk to me... i kinda liked being the object of such intense fear for some people. it kept them in check. :D but yeah, cool that you bought a car, and good luck with the home buying. and i can't ( ... )

Homey, I am super psyched for December, too. We're gonna have like a ream of new material on the Baron. If he has that goatee I'm gonna kick my leg out and say "yes" and pump my arm and probably fall over.

dude... what are we gonna do if he's... like... normal and stuff? or if he isn't such a tool? i'll be so disappointed. oh well... maybe we could focus our attention on someone else. like scott silsbe or something. that wouldn't be as much fun, though, cuz scott could probably dish it back out without pulling a few more boners on the way. heh. pulling boners. heh. boners. anyway, let's hope he's gotten more buffoonish and possibly a little crazy. but not in a stabbing way. in a "wearing a tophat and monocle" sort of way. though i'm not sure how tophats indicate one has gone over the deep end. whatever. i just want more baron stories. :)

"...she looked a bit scared and then continued on with her shopping. All I could think to do was yell across the isle to Cindy about the frozen hashbrowns I had just found."

You know, you always had a way with the ladies!

I'm surprised somebody actually married me. I mean, the lack of showering, the constant barrage of bad jokes ( "Yes, dear, I'm tired too... TIRED OF HIGH PRICES!!!!" ), the video game playing, the nerditude, the loud guitar, the constant ogling of women (or girls).... well, the list could go on. Oh, I can't forget to mention all the bad movies that I watch... knowing full well they will be bad. I'd better shape up...

naw man... stay just the way you are. it's not like you insist the longest a man can have sex is 2 minutes or that your feet smell like rancid hotdogs and sour milk. or that when you chew you actually end up waking people up that were a) sound asleep and b) across the fucking house. compared to THAT person (who shall remain nameless) you pwnz0r. wes == rules. the baron == not rules.

Wes. Hold it. Just wait a second, here. I want you to think about you're doing. Listen, I'm told getting a new car is a big deal to most people. I know this is the product of a long arduous decision-making process. I know you must be eager to show it off. But you should wait until you've got the personalized license plates on it and the "No Fear" stencils have dried.

I'm happy that I can amuse people. If nobody laughs at my hijinx then what's the point in making such a bafoon of myself so often?

Say, do you know you can get free ice cream at Melting Moments if it's your birthday? Just walk in and say: "It's my birthday, what do I get?!"
