Happy, and fluffy, Friday! Have a fluffy (despite the name) TH fic. :) My thanks to fyredancer for organising this, and especially steinsgrrl for the beta!

A Scary Movie (twins, G)

Summary: Sometimes sad movies get to Bill. Tom is startled, but ultimately knows what to do.

( Bill's crying at the end of Cold Mountain surprised them both. )

Tom's characterization, oh my. Love, love, and also love! <3 I love that he turns off the movie credits in case the music upsets Bill, how he comforts Bill and is concerned about him but teasing too, and the roundabout way he gets to saying what he wants to in the end. =) Absolute love. <3

This comment makes me so happy, thank you! *beams* I'm pleased that you like Tom so much even though he's not the pov character. And that you like all those details. :))) I love the idea of Tom looking after Bill.

I figured it wouldn't be too out of character to have Tom be sweet on Fluff Friday... *g* nah, of course Tom is this sweet to Bill ALWAYS, right? :)

I know exactly how Bill feels, though. ;~; And he's so, so lucky to have his Tom beside him!

That's enough to make me cry, too - being with that person for that finite amount of time, then never able to go back. ;_; I burst into tears after reading "The Persian Boy" because I sympathized so deeply with Bagoas, having one person be his entire life but not knowing whether he meant the same, was even a fraction as important as his loved one was to him.

I feel like Bill can be that sympathetic, and it's so lovely that he has a Tom to be there for him.

I think Bill can be that sympathetic, too! And didn't Tom say in THTV episode 33 that Bill cries when watching movies "all the time?" *watches again* It's so sweet and amusing at the same time!

It's almost funny how fiction can be so gutting when fictional people lose someone they love or have otherwise tragic lives. I'm glad I could capture that feeling in this story! And I definitely wanted to have Tom remind Bill that his life is not that tragic. Thankfully. Bill is lucky!
