things about law school (so far)

[pacifically]

• there is a lot of reading
• people are much more nice and friendly than i had expected. this may change around exam time.
• professors are less scary than expected
• fewer professors than expected believe in cold calling
  
• more professors than expected explain their calling system

what exactly is practice class time??

also it feels weird knowing you're doing school things and they arent either taking place here or involved with au at all.

they had us go to one of our classes (legal analysis, research, and writing) with the prof we normally have and then talk about the two cases we were assigned and how to brief cases and outlining and things like that. and then there was homework (practice brief) which we had to discuss the next day.
it's very strange being in school here. i keep seeing everyone's back to school messages and getting all excited...and then i realize that's not for me.
in very important news, emily is totally open to gossip girl. she's not currently a watcher, but she loves the oc and is willing to try it out.
