This is my first journal posting. This is a learning experience for me, and I have a feeling it will take me a while to get into the swing of things. I hope I won't make too many mistakes as I learn the best ways to navigate LiveJournal. Cheers!

Hi! I think what you're talking about is part of a fic by stella-pegasi called "Road Trip"? A great work in progress story that I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter on. The story I'm looking for involves just Sheppard and McKay. I just remember Rodney waking up and not finding Sheppard in the vehicle and finding him outside and freaking out.

Lots of great communities, if you like to do graphics and challenges...there a wonderful land comm, stargateland you might want to check out. We are in the middle of a phase so you might not get to participate until this phase is finished but you can join.
