Name: Lilith Sahl; Crusnik 04
Rank: Lieutenant of the UNASF
Age: 135
Sex: Female
Marital Status: Listed as Abel's "soulmate;" otherwise disinterested. She assumes he's moved on and found love elsewhere since she's... you know, been dead 900 years in TB canon.
Species: Genetically enhanced clone created to head colonization project to Mars; prototype to Abel, Cain, and Seth
Current Year: 2220 A.D.
Personality: Lilith is endlessly compassionate, patient, and understanding. It seems near impossible to shatter her perpetual calm, to undo her kind nature; she cares for the world, and everyone in it - nothing can obscure that. In some ways, one might consider her the picture of tranquility and understanding, the perfect mother figure in every way. She is unafraid to face even the ugliest parts of the world with a smile; each coin has two sides, and she believes that one cannot exist without the other. Through pain, one comes to greater understand the value of happiness. Through sorrow, one can grasp the depth of their contentment. Through strife, we grow. Everything has meaning and life is truly precious - this is what she genuinely believes.
She's extremely intelligent and strategic; however, she is able to become somewhat detached and calculating if for the greater good and will do whatever is required to protect innocents, even if that means she makes enemies of those she loves most - she stood in opposition against Seth, Cain, and Abel when they chose to take the Returners and begin a war against the Survivors - and would've won, in all likelihood. She believed in her heart of hearts it wasn't what any of them truly wanted - that protecting the humans was protecting their truest wishes and that they'd wake up to see this before it was too late.
...It's never too late.
Even so, she didn't hesitate to take up arms against them, leading the humans against her siblings and their army of Methuselah. She may possess and endless compassion and loyalty to those she loves, but she isn't afraid to put her morals above even her own family. To do what's right, to protect innocent lives, is the ultimate. She would sacrifice it all - and, in the end, inevitably does - if it brings about the greater good.
Combat Abilities: Without Crusnik, Lilith possesses superior strength, stamina, and speed than the average human. Her immune system is near impeccable. However, she's no less vulnerable to injury. With Crusnik, however, things take a more drastic turn. Crusnik are microscopic nanomachines running through her bloodstream that feed on bacillus - found in the blood of Methuselah, or vampires. The nanomachines, normally, are in a "docile" state - unless activated, they don't manifest. Tapping into them, however, yields interesting results. Lilith's appearance changes depending on how far she releases their power; the most drastic difference would be the manifestation of wings - two to six, which give her an angelic appearance. Her speed, strength, and reflexes all gain another huge leap. The most impressive feat, however, is likely the regeneration - a Crusnik can regenerate from nearly any injury almost instantaneously with the exception of beheading, which will put their bodies into a stasis. During this stasis, they'll be, for all intents and purposes, "dead." Normal regeneration may be sluggish and the nanomachines may reject attempts to tap into their power if the host has gone prolonged periods of time without feeding.
Strengths: As head of the Health Care division of the Red Mars Project, Lilith was charged with the management and operations of all the medical facilities of the colony. As such, she possesses skills in the practice of advanced medicine as well as handling a great deal of complex and "futuristic" technology.
When the war between the humans and Methuselah broke out, Lilith left in its midst to side with the humans, pitting herself against all three of her "siblings." She was seen as the "holy madonna," graced with the title of Saint and heralded humanity together against the Returners. For years, she fended off all three of her fellow Crusnik, as well as their legions of Methuselah in battle, lending to her intelligence as well as tactical and strategical ability.
Weaknesses: Aside from the obvious vulnerabilities afforded by being chipped, the most obvious of her weaknesses would have to be the double-edged sword of her compassion. She tends to see the best in everyone, and while she's hardly naive, she'll go to great lengths to assist those around her - even if they're dangerous, or may lash out at her. Possessing somewhat of a martyr complex, she will permit herself to come to harm should it serve the greater good - what she sees as opening one's eyes to the error of their ways, or saving innocent lives. To sum it up best, she'll give of herself until there's nothing left if she feels there's a benefit to others in it.
It's of note that Crusnik doesn't come without it's share of downsides as well - the nanomachines are sentient, possessing their own will, their own wishes; each time their abilities are utilized, they gain more "sway" over their host, attempting to influence them towards complete fusion. Once fused, their desire for destruction will dominate - and as is seen with Cain, that's not a good thing. They should be used fleetingly and sparingly, only when is absolutely necessary. On top of this, they are fueled by bacillus, a rare commodity in a place like Discedo; the blood of Methuselah is its only source. If a host's body is severely damaged, or left starved, Crusnik will attempt to force its way out (to as high a fusion level as its host will permit) and feed, regenerate, etc.
