Favorite Song of '06

"A Certain Romance" by the Arctic Monkeys resonated a little too much. It's about being from some dingy place, full of people dressing in tracksuits/sneakers and such for a night out on the town, and where brawling on occasion makes perfect sense. Drastically different. Alot of people I know think that albums would be amongst the best ever if it were only it's second half. Check out "A Certain Romance", "Mardy Bum" and "Riot Van". You'll like 'em, I think.

And check youtube for the video for "Leave Before the Lights Go Down" or something similar. It's their new track, not on the album, with a funny, creepy video.

And I LIKE the jangly, dissonant musics. Sonic Youth, Pavement fandom does that to you.
