Na, crushes aren't for highschoolers. I'm 28 and I still have crushes. Some are/have even been on some ladies from lj. But I know what you mean about Valentine's Day, it really gets to me sometimes too. Maybe we could just hang out or something that day. :)

Yeah I guess we view having a crush a little differently. But I just try to tell a woman how I feel about them in situations like that. Pretty much ever since I told the first gal I had feelings for her, I didn't know how I really felt until I broke my leg, but by the time I did say something it was too late and she had a boyfriend for a while. So I just take the chance and try to say something, so I'll know instead of waiting too long.

In my opinion though it's really poor form for a woman to outright say that she has feelings for a guy or ask him out. It works for some people but it's not my style at all. I would rather lose the opportunity altogether than deal with an odd situation like that... especially since we go out for coffee a lot... and Shari's is the only place we can go, have coffee, and smoke at the same time.

Thanks for the advice though.

I really wasn't trying to give you advice in your situation, just explaining my position on something like that for me and why I do behave that way. But as it being poor form, I don't think it is for me. I actually like a woman who can/does stand up like that and say she has feelings or even ask me out. Anyway I wish you the best of luck, maybe he'll be flirting with you soon or something. :)
