So, today is Mother's Day, and the day of the Books' concert. Alas, no one will go with me as of yet. Our final project in literature is to come up with two songs of the 80s, two songs of the 90s, and two songs of this decade, explaining why each of them captured the mentality of that specific decade. So Muse was great, but not as great as back in November. This time, as half-to-three-fourths-expected, they played only their more popular anthemic hard rock songs. No "Ruled by Secrecy", but they did play "Bliss". Micah and I were still anticipating "Space Dementia", which could have fit into the show, but oh well.
