Elementals class basics 001

Jan 10, 2006 11:44

Hello and welcome to all students!
I'm Professor Reeve, your teacher for Elementals this year, along with my assistant Cait Sith, who teaches the class when I am unable to be around or for another reason. Or if I'm off drinking or something like that. *coughs*

Many of you will recognise me from previous years, some of you may be second years who took Elementals last year, or perhaps some of you who have in fact studied Elementals all way through your education here. A warm welcome to all of the new students joining the class, and I hope you don't find Cait Sith too scary!

The materials you will need to bring are relatively straightforward for the time being - pens and pencils, a writing book, anything else you think you may require, and a textbook I will provide you with - but watch this space just in case there are any changes or additions to the list.

The way I grade you on is as follows: most of the percentage of your grade is by your exams and papers handed in, and any practicals we may attempt in the class. In class participation is also a high part of your grade, and please do make a note that bringing Cait Sith or I chocolate, as tempting as it is unfortunately for us, won't improve your grading.

Watch this space for more information on the classes, but for now please fill this out so I can get to know my students a little more and also sort out a seating plan for you all!

(OOC: I am totally disorganised right now, so sorry. I just needed to get all this done, and then I'll organise it better next time I swear. Hehe. ^^;;)
