I send in the majority of my posts on the run. Email to the four blogs I maintain regularly via moblog and two others (360 and MySpace) that get special, personal attention (along with a hot oil rub down) by individual log in/post.

Most of the services just snip the first 200 characters and add a ... LJ seems a....um, little behind the times
