WW recipes

Okay, I made these up; They aren't WW recipes at all. But some of the Smart Ones meals are nasty and they have too many chemicals for my taste.

2-3 small red potatoes, washed & cut up
1-2 tsp olive oil (or any of the good oils they tell you to use)
salt/pepper/garlic powder/herbs to taste
about 1/2-3/4 cup broccoli florets (Brokly Wokly is easy and good)
1/2 cup fat-free shredded cheddar
1/4 cup skim milk
flour for thickening, about 2 tsp.

Toss the spices, salt and oil with the potatoes in a deep bowl; cover with cling wrap. Microwave 2 minutes. Toss in the broccoli, cover again. Microwave 1 more minute. Pull the bowl out and mix the flour and cold milk in a separate bowl. Nuke 1 minute, maybe 2, until the milk is boiling. Throw in the cheese and stir till melted. It might be a little lumpy, but that never bothers me.

4 points, 2 vegetable servings, 1-2 of your good fats and 1 milk. You can't beat that.

1 Ball-Park fat-free white turkey breast hot dog
1 whole wheat hot dog bun (I do no-sugar added or low-fat)
1/2 cup chili beans. That's right -- they're with the beans, not the chili. Fat-free chili sucks.
1-2 tbsp fat-free refried beans
2 tbsp fat-free shredded cheese
Onions, mustard, peppers if desired

This is a no-brainer. Toast the bun, nuke/fry/boil the dog, nuke the chili. I mix the chili beans with the refried beans so there's a bit more thickness there, spread the bun with mustard, pile it all on.

4 points, 1 vegetable (depending on if you're doing onions and peppers or kraut, even, you might stretch it to 2), and the only fat is, ironically, in the bread.
