I HATE CRANE FLIES! stupid, buzzy, erratic, long spindly legged things, my house is festooned with these critters dangling from the ceilings..... yuck!! will i be damned in my next life because i suck them up the hoover???

I hate them too. How dare those revolting creatures share my surname, lol. I suck mine up too. I can't bare to kill anything (not 'cos of the poor wickle animal aspect more the fact that dead animals scare the crap out of me o_O ) so if they get sucked then they're still alive the last time I saw them ;o)

oh i am so glad i am not alone. i hate to kill anything, makes me feel guilty. those things just freak me out. must be the way they move eeeeewwww. my cats, on the other hand, love them. dismembering them is an especial favourite passtime ick :oO

yeah, thats what its like here. the only reason i can think of is that we live near a couple of fishing lakes and fields. never have a hoovered so much....

My sister is terrified of those things, she calls them flying spiders. I just catch them and put them outside IF I get to them first, the cats have other means of ridding them from the house!

apparently they are arachnids, thats what thierry tells me. he looked them up after id asked what the heck they are for! they eat breed and die - thats about it really. what a life. my cats tend to get to them first in this house too, and leave a cariety of body parts strewn about for me to clear up later - nice :o/
