my nephew jak is exactly the same - whenever he comes round, you can garauntee that the floor is going to end up covered in silver discs.
oddly, the first ones he goes for are the simpsons and shrek DVDs...

I don't think your plan will work.
I'm 25 and my mum still complains that I make the place look untidy.
I have a habit of leaving cd's thrown all over the place.
