Bank charges a gogo

So, I did that thing that loads of people are doing, claiming back bank charges from naughty old First Direct. Took about an hour to do, going through my old statements, highlighting away, and then sending off my letter asking for £1173 as a refund ( Read more... )

Wow! Well done!!

Sometimes I wish the Bank of Scotland had been more evil to me. I don't recall them ever charging me. Bah!

Wow - I'm impressed....I don't think I've ever met anyone who hasn't been overdrawn or written a cheque a couple of days too early, and been hit with charges. You are an enigma to me.
