I KNOW. It's a complicated plot, but if you pay attention, it's not hard to understand. I LIKED that the plot was complicated--I thought it made it more interesting!

...is it sad and a bit off that I thought that was one of the more straight forward plots I've seen? Because most movies don't actually have plots. They have driving tensions (I so wanted to put "tractors").

I fully agree with you. I loved that there was actually a plot to follow in the movie and that they didn't just hold my hand and lead me through the movie. I also really enjoyed that there were a few twists I didn't see coming; most movies are so straightforward and just driving-tension pictures, as you said, that it's too easy to figure out the mystery or the "shocking plot twists."
