...wassup!!..
well well...the past few weeks have been eventful...so many things happen and I don't really know where to begin...and a little lazy to do so too...haha..but I shall la...let me go according to the dates of each events...
::29th August 2004, Sunday::
I was happily snoozing in bed on this very Sunday morning when I was awoken by "rudely" by a knock on my door...it was Dayah...she looked frantic...then she asked me "Pam!..you ok??...I called you but you didn't pick up your phone...that's why I knock on your door!"...here's the thing...I was to send her to a baseball match and then I go church...but I kinda was very tired that particular morning..so I decided to skip church....(I KNOW!! I KNOW!!...my bad!!...not good excuse!!)...yeah so I msg her and told her that I won't be going church today...and that silly doh doh thought I was sick...but actually there was another reason for it....so anyways...after she checked I was ok...she went off on her own for her baseball...then I continued to sleep till abt 10ish...then woke up to have breakfast and all...got ready to wait for Dayah to return so I could go to the supermarket to get food for my camp on tuesday....so I waited till she called and told Aisya and Henrie that we were leaving in 20mins cos they were going as well...so anyway...Aisya said she would meet me at my place b4 we leave...which I found it strange but I didn't really let that thought bother me much...when she arrived at my place we were ready to set off...but she said she wanted to get something from Frankie at the West Rec...so we went...and I found it even more strange cos why can't she get it from his house...aiyah...to cut the long story short...everyone was "hiding" at the BBQ area...the problem with having so many people...you can't really hide the surprise...cos everyone will talk...hahaha...so I heard them and initially I didn't wanna go in cos I was taken aback...but eventually still did...everyone sang a bday song for me and we had a lovely BBQ in the afternoon...it was truly a pleasent surprise...and well thought of =))...thanks guys!!...
so anyway...what's a bday without saboh-ing right...that's in their context la!!...I knew it was coming and was prepared for it...so I told them..."Come on!!...get over and done with!!"....hehe...so that's where all hell broke loose...the guys grab me and carried me to where?!!?....THE POND!!!!!!!!!!....of all places!!!...grrrr!!!!....the pond was so dirty, muddy and gross!!!...so yeah...i got thrown in it and when I came out of it....I saw this powdery thingy flying towards my face....yup..you got it right...FLOUR!!!...yeah..to cut the long story short again....my whole head was like a cake mixture...throw me into an oven...I might turn out to be a tasty cake!!....yeah...so that's that....good surprise and saboh!!...

like every other Monday, I went to school for lessons and all...have dinner...relax and watch TV...while having dinner...there was a sudden increase of traffic to Lizda's room!!...and everyone was talking funny....and I knew something was wrong...not in the bad sense...in the sense of "we-need-to-act-as-if-nothing-is-wrong-and-talk-some-crap-so-that-pam-dunno-we-are-writing-her-card"....but aiyah...a bit hard la...I saw through that...but pretend nothing was wrong la and what's more I had a bad headache that night...wasn't really in the mood to do anything....anyway around 10ish...I decided to head home cos I had a camp the following day....so yeah....I left their place and went home to rest....and just went I was about to fall asleep...I heard a knock...it was Serene...she came and pass me something for my camp....then I told her..."Ok..i'll see ya in 4 days time...I am ready to crash!!"...then I close the door...she had the "oh-shoots-i-am-suppose-to-keep-the-door-open" look...haha...but anyway i still closed the door...then few seconds later...I heard a 2nd knock...before I could fully open the door....POP!!!....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!....hahaa....yesh...they popped streamers in my room which i had a terribly hard time clearing!!!!!!!!!!!....these goons like Miss Dawn Lim thought 1st of September was the next day...but apparently they "thought" wrongly....hahaha...but it was still good la!!...they presented my gift and the CARD and sang me a bday song....to sum it all....sweet surprise...thanks again! =))
::31st August - 3rd September 2004, Tuesday - Friday::
my bushwalk camp atTali Karng...it was a 4 days bushwalk...lovely experience...and guess what peeps...I DIDN'T FALL OFF ANY CLIFF!!!!....woohoo!!!...hahahhaa...best achievement!!....but I walked across almost 20 over river...got wet feet for 4 days!!!...not a good feeling though....but had great company...love my group members...all girls except for one guy...haha...it was good fun!!...glad that I was in this group cos I got to know some of my course mates a little bit more =))...so anyway...this was a much better walk in compared to my previous one maybe cos I was physically more prepared for this particular one...and I knew what was I going to expect...so it was a more enjoyable walk....

yeah...so as you all have read by now...my bday falls on the 1st...and what better way to spend your 21st bday...IN THE JUNGLE!!!....haha...my very first and only 21st birthday spent in the jungle...now this is one thing I don't thing I will ever forget....hehehe...Henrie, my partner in the camp, was really sweet...she actually brought a muffin and a candle to the camp and on the 1st....she brought it out during dinner time where everyone sang me a bday song!!...hehe...that was really thoughtful of her...=))...and Avril actually brought my card to the camp...put it in zip lock just in case it got wet.....hahaha...

received a parcel...after so long!!!...it was a good feeling to receive one!!...love the stuff in there...hehe...waiting for one more!!...kekeke...=))

Churchill Idol!!!!...hahahhaa...yup!!...you didn't read wrongly...here in Moo Moo Land...we have our very own Churchill Idol!!...haha...and guess what...I took part...before any of you throw weird looks at me...hear me out first!!...I was in it because Wendy needed someone to play the guitar for her while she sings...so I thought...ok..I don't mind...and I thought being the guitarist, I am not in the idol thingy cos I am just playing for her while she's the one who's actually performing....but apparently I was wrong...we were all in!!!...so Wendy was singing...I was playing the guitar (rhythm) and Aisya on the guitars too (as a lead)...haha...it was good fun...initially I was a little embarress cos I will NEVER do such a thing...(Note: NEVER!!!)....but after that I thought...heck it la!!..it's all in the name of good fun!!...yeah...it was really like the idol audtions where they have the host running interviewing the applicants and recording every moment of it on tape....the best part is there was actually a queue!!!...hahaha...can't believe it...the turn out of this was pretty good....so anyway we performed to the ballad "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough"...the judges were apparently all very impress with our performance...hahaha...and were in to the FINALS next week!!!...hahahaha....can't believe this man!!....too bad I can't be around for it...got another camp...it's ok la...both of them will do fine!!...hehehe...it's gonna be an exciting week!!!...kekeke
