Do they have dark and disturbing thoughts like me? I'm betting, yes.
Are they as satisfied as they often seem? Probably not.
Is it all an act? Indubitably.
Does a front of perpetual sincerity underlie something darker and more sinister? Or is there nothing there? Is sincerity the wrapping paper covering an empty gift box? It's probably covering insecurity.
Perhaps the curse of intelligence is a combination of obsessive critical analysis and arrogance. Your brain never turns off and you feel unique - isolated by your intelligence. I analyze endlessly. Does that make me neurotic or judgmental? It makes you human.
Thoughts do not equate to actions. That is a good thing.
I wonder many things - always - endlessly - like: ignorance would be bliss if you didn’t know any alternative. It would also be ignorance. I'd personally rather be a little unhappy yet know that I wasn't ignorant. :)
Dasha, I like-- and appreciate--your answers. Many of my questions were rhetorical but I sense you knew that. I suppose I knew many of the answers already but when you're in the mood it's nice to have other people who can understand your feelings and reassure you with their own conclusions (which are often wonderfully similar to your own).
I used to hate the nickname Paddy Cakes, but I finally gave into repeated usage by female friends. What can I say I'm weak-willed.
But, anyway, to answer your question: PC is fine. If you wish to pun on it, I prefer the computer reference because I'm definitely not politically correct.
I like World of WarCraft but haven't played much lately. With the honour system being implemented and my focus turning to other areas of interest, I play very, very rarely now. My main character is on Dunemaul.
I like entries about movies no one has heard of. Two of my favourites are by Tarkovsky -- not only has no one heard of him, but half the people who have don't like him. Hehehe...
