Heeelp please!

Is there anyone else who has problems with MSN? I've tried to sign in all day, but no success so far. It's possible that it's just my computer, it keeps saying something about proxy servers and firewalls (???). Since I'm computer illiterate, I have no idea how to fix it.

Awwwwwww you can't get on! *Cries* I don't know about others, but I don't have any problems with it, and I've just talked to Lara, so hers is okay too...

I don't suppose you know if your firewall blocks the msn? I had some trouble with my firewall a while back because I'd accidentally put up two, and they were working against each other.. It kept cutting off my Internet entirely... If you know where your settings for the firewall are at, you could try seeing if it says that it's cutting off something particular? I really don't know, though, I'm not that good with comps...

Hmm, proxys, aren't they what you use to get onto the Internet if you have a certain kind of Internet? Eep, I really don't know, I just know that it's something to do with it...

Ehm... No idea where my settings for the firewall are. I don't even know if I actually *have* a firewall. Or does every computer have a firewall? ...ehm... I *do* realize that I'm probably asking the dumbest questions ever here. *is SO computer illiterate*

And I really have NO idea what proxies are... This sucks. I'll try rebooting now, maybe it'll work afterwards?

Well, if you get messages about a firewall, I'd assume you have one. But I don't really know... I know we had one of those "free for 90 days" things which included a firewall, when we got our comp, so it might be something like that? I dunno...

And you're not asking stupid questions, I have no idea what the heck I'm doing half the time... I'm just thankful we have a help line we can call when our Internet screws up.

I don't really know what proxies are either, I'm just guessing. I think I've seen them somewhere in my Internet settings, but I soooo don't know...

I think I got one of those "free for 90 days" things too when I got my laptop... though I've got it for more than 90 days already. Hmmm.

Hmm for once I haven't had any probs with msn but it happens occasionaly. I suppose it's when they have far too many people connecting some people just are *chucked out of it*.
