Althought I don't consider any of my possessions to be "suspicious," after reading the accounts from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, I'm not taking any chances. So, I'm borrowing an idea from Professor Lupin.

Tomorrow morning, before class, I'm going to empty out my trunk and put all of my most personal belongings into it. If anyone would like to store anything in my trunk for the day, you're more than welcome to. I won't ask any questions about whatever you put in there, so if you have some questionable items, I'll let it go. When everyone's done, I'll shrink the trunk and keep it on my person throughout the day. Once the coast is clear, I'll return everything.

Any takers?

As much as I don't want to believe it, I have no doubts that Seamus Finnigan wasn't exaggerating about his interrogation this afternoon. If the DMLE went that crazy over a bloody flag, I don't even want to think about what they'd do if they came across all the things I have from India. I don't think anything even remotely close to the word "heirloom" is in their vocabulary.

I wonder if any of them will notice how much heavier the students' bags are tomorrow?
