I'm having a nasty time deciding what I want to take this year. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm definitely taking:

• Advanced Potions
• Advanced Charms
• Advanced DADA
• Advanced Arithmancy
• Magical Theory

Hexes & Curses can come in handy, I hear. Not that I'd know anything about using them of course... Mum are you reading this?

Advanced Herbology is pointless unless you're going to be a Healer or Magical Plant Breeder. Advanced Potions means more classes with Snape, and who wants that? You could drop it for Advanced Transfiguration; McGonagall's brilliant.

What am I saying- you're not going to take me seriously anyway. If you flunk out, you can always come work for us. :D

She is, but she teaches Advanced Transfig every year. Snape's honestly not that bad; all right, he is that bad, but he is competent, you know. Advanced Potions is really mostly self-directed independent research, which I'm dying to take. Besides, it's required for the Faculty of Magic.
