Unfortunately, they are. If they have a strong pair bond, one will follow the other. Frankie and Snowflake were best friends from day one and Frankie always followed Snowflake into trouble.

oh, my. i'm so sorry...about both of them. i know how it is to lose a loved one like that. we had a ferret named ben last year, and he got really sick and passed on.
