Padme is sitting in her room, reading to get sleepy enough to go to bed.

She has no idea that anything has happened outside.

Anakin knocks on the door. "Padme? You there?"

Padme looks up anxiously. That's Anakin's voice. She gets up and opens the door.

When she sees him, she opens the door wider. "Anakin! What happened?"

There are bruises on his face and dirt on his robes. She pulls him inside. "Are you all right?" she asks worriedly.

Anakin steps in, and takes a deep breath. "Grievous."

Padme blinks, making him sit down. "I'm...not sure what you mean. Are you hurt?"

She looks him over anxiously.
