Are you sure you aren't in Texas? LOL

But seriously, the snow just keeps on going here. Holy cow, it's supposed to be a high of zero degrees on Friday. ZERO! And a low of negative 7.

Don't you miss Kansas? :D

we had snow today, too. probably a couple of inches or so. But it has been well below freezing for a few days now and the prior snows haven't been able to melt and the bulk of the snow hit right at morning rush hour. I passed five nasty car wrecks on my way to work and the trip took almost an hour instead of the usual half hour.

cars with rear wheel drive do not behave well on slick surfaces at all. I really hope we don't have a crazy snowy winter or I may have to miss work!

I know my relatives in western TN think two inches is the end of the world. But having spent a winter in DC...watching people freak out gets old after the fifth or sixth time civilization ends on word of an approaching storm. Though extra days off work were nice!

*lmao*

To be fair, I did have to negotiate some ice in my parking lot this morning...because some idiot forgot to turn off the automatic overnight sprinklers.

Common sense does not abound anywhere around LJ folks...

Penny and I noticed that a lot of the fountains in the downtown area were still on Saturday and Sunday...I can't imagine they didn't freeze overnight. *sheesh*

Common sense is the world's most precious and rare commodity.
