I've not updated much here, because people have shifted to G+ and FB a lot - am on both, and would be happy to add/have you add me.

Yeah, it was what "inspired" me to do the same. ;) Also, while I do have Google+, Twitter and Facebook, none of those get really personal entries from me. So I'd definitely miss something if Livejournal wasn't here anymore, even though I don't post often.

You can filter your friends list.

If you read your friendslist that way you won't miss anything. If you have

If you have the navigationn bar showing at the top of your journal there's a Filter dropdown that lets you select which friends group you want to view.
If you don't the links are
http://kleiner_stern.livejournal.com/friends?show=p for personal journals,
http://kleiner_stern.livejournal.com/friends?show=c for livejournal communities, and
http://kleiner_stern.livejournal.com/friends?show=y for external feeds.
There's also the possibility to name one friends group Default View (capitalization matters). If you do that only journals in that group will be shown when you visit http://kleiner_stern.livejournal.com/friends. Other people will not be able to see who is in Default View and who is not.

I know that. I have a ton of filters. But I don't like using them because one friends list is just easier and faster. :)

I am still here and I do read along- I just haven't been feeling very blog-gy lately. Mostly because my life's been a bit of a ...routine? Work, work, work, weekend to sleep + play online, work, work...nothing that made me go "OMG I need to update!" And if small things happen, I've started using facebook for that. Of course it's kind of sucky that you can't get on there :-/

I can't access Facebook! :( Every other day, it loads. I've had different people give me different tips and possible solutions and workarounds but nothing helped and now they're out of ideas. :( My PC just hates Facebook! ^^
