Pairings/Characters: Miyata/Tamamori, Kitayama, mention of Nakai
Rating: PG
A/N: Something that was born from a twitter conversation. Miyata is drunk and all he can do is... propose to Tamamori. Comments are ♥.
Kitayama raised his hand and the taxi approached the two guys on the pavement. Miyata was actually sitting there, obviously too drunk to get up, mumbling to himself. The only discernible word was “Tama” at regular intervals. Kitayama grabbed him and helped him get in the car.
“The taxi is here, let’s just go home ok?”
Miyata muttered a reply that didn’t really make any sense.
“You shouldn’t have drunk so much!” recriminated Kitayama. “You know Nakai-san is that sort of guy who fills up your glass without you noticing.”
“That’s why it was always full!” exclaimed Miyata raising his head.
“You really need to get some rest now. I have work tomorrow, but how can I leave you alo- wait? Doesn’t Tamamori live around here?” Miyata just dropped his head on Kitayama’s shoulder in reply. Kitayama took out his phone and dialed a number.
“Tama? Hi, it’s me. Is it ok if I bring Miyata to your place now? You know he’s a bit drunk and... No I can’t, I have work tomorrow! Hey! Stop complaining I know you’re just doing it for fun! Anyway, we are coming.” Kitayama hung up and passed the driver the new destination.
“Mitsu...”
“What?”
“Thank you.”
Tama was waiting for them outside. Kitayama helped Miyata out of the car before leaving him in Tamamori’s arms.
“He’s ‘a bit’ drunk!? He can’t even walk!”
“So, take care of him please! Bye!” waved Kitayama getting on the car again.
Tamamori helped Miyata inside the house.
“Please be quiet, everyone is sleeping!” said Tama when Miyacchi accidentally bumped into the shoe rack. When they arrived in Tama’s room, Miyacchi just fell face down on the bed.
“Tamaaaaa!”
“I’m here, let me go get you some water.”
“Tamaaaa!” Miyacchi stood up and grabbed the other guy’s arm. He could barely stand, that’s why he dropped down on his knees almost immediately.
“Hey! Let me go!”
“Yuta, will you marry me?” said Miyata raising his face to look at Tama.
“EH?!” yelled Tamamori in disbelief.
“I’m not joking, marry me please!”
“What? It’s not like you are asking to go to the cinema together, you know?”
“I’m serious!!!”
“You’re drunk!!!!” said Tama blushing a little.
Miyata started caressing Tamamori’s hand.
“Please Tama, please.”
“You are behaving like a kid.”
“But I really really love you!”
“That’s not the point!”
“I want to be always with you!”
“Stop it!” Tama took away his hand from Miyacchi’s hold and just then, his mobile started ringing.
“Mitsuuu!” whined Tama answering the phone.
“Hey, how is Miyacchi? Is he fine now?”
“It’s all your fault!”
“What is he doing?” giggled Kitayama on the other side of the phone.
“He’s... he’s proposing to me!” squealed Tama.
“Wow! I was expecting Miyata to do something crazy, but I never thought it would have been something so epic!”
“Did you bring him here to have fun? Come and get him before I throw him out! Anyway, this joke is too much.”
“I don’t think he is joking. Do you know? When you are drunk you actually get the courage to do things you normally can’t do.”
“But... WAIT we can’t even marry!”
“Well, too bad. You’ll have to sort it out yourself. Bye!”
Tamamori turned around and saw Miyacchi standing close to him with the most serious look he could manage on his reddened face.
“I’m not joking. I’m not even that drunk anymore.”
“You totally are.”
“But even if I am, I still want to marry you!”
“But how can we? You are a man and I’m a man... we simply can’t!”
“Marry me please!”
“Just how many times are you going to propose tonight?” asked Tamamori trying to sound annoyed.
“Of course, until you say yes.”
“I’ll say yes if you stop proposing now.” said Tama grabbing Miyata’s shoulders.
“If I don’t ask you to marry me, what are you going to answer yes to?” said Miyacchi pouting and encircling Tama with his arms to drag him closer.
“Well then, I’ll find another way to make you shut up!”
“Oh and what will it b-” Tama’s lips just pressed against Miyacchi’s and he started kissing him sweetly while pulling him closer with a hand on the back of his neck, fingers entwined in his hair.
“See? It did work right?” smiled Tama breaking the kiss.
“I still want to...” Tama kissed him again.
“I might never stop proposing if I can get a kiss in exchange every time.” smiled Miyata.
“It’s not like I’m complaining, am I?” whispered Tama smirking.
