A/N: Another story born from the game of the three random elements some time ago and never posted!XD This time I had Nikaido, origami and not wanting to get up in the morning.
The light of the day was coming through the venetian blind across the room, streaking the bed with rays in which small particles of dust fluctuated until they turned invisible to the eye in the shade. Senga opened his eyes, raised his mouth from the pillow and looked at his side. Nikaido was lying there partially uncovered, on his back. A quiet expression on his face, his chest barely raising and sinking down again at the relaxed rhythm of his breathing. On his body the sun and the shade were creating the same streaky pattern as on the bed, his fair skin glared where the light laid. Senga was about to turn his head and go back to sleep but Nikaido slowly opened his eyes and looked at him.
"Hey are you being creepy while I'm asleep?" Nikaido asked with a husky voice.
"I just woke up."
Nikaido moved making a rustling noise in the bed and threw an arm around Senga's waist.
"Kenpi~"
"Nika, don't even try to start. I'm still aching from yesterday."
"Me too, what do you think?! I don’t want to move!"
"So let's not get up at all." Senga smiled, starting to stroke the other’s arm.
"But I'm bored!"
"Nika, you woke up just a moment ago!"
"I don't like staying in bed, unless there is a purpose to it! And sleeping or sex are the only two bed activities I can think about."
"Let's go back to sleep then, as it seems like we don't have energies for other things."
"But I'm not sleepy any more!" Nikaido pouted.
Senga sat on the bed, leaned his back on the wall and sighed.
"You are so spoiled..."
Nikaido pouted more then rubbed his cheek on Senga's side.
"A spoiled, bored cat!"
Nikaido bit him lightly and Senga flailed, laughing. He looked at the bedside table and stretched out to open the drawer.
"Kenpi... Seriously, I can't. Don't take out anything!"
"I don't have only sex stuff in here!"
"Well taking out something different from there would be a first."
Senga came back to his sitting position on the bed. His hand was clutching a considerable amount of square sheets of coloured paper.
"What is that?" Nikaido asked perplexed.
"Origami!"
"What?"
"Let's make some! You won't be bored!"
"What's fun about that? Besides I haven't made one since kindergarten!"
But Senga didn't listen to any further complaint and started to fold the paper with an engrossed expression he almost never showed while doing other things rather than dance. Quickly a star took form from the paper. Senga passed it to Nikaido that rolled it in his hands staring at it fascinated.
"OK, I want to try too."
Nikaido took a fancy coloured piece of paper and started to fold. Halfway through the process he went back a couple of steps. Then he opened the sheet again, looking lost. He started to fold again but everything was wrong so he just crumpled the piece of paper into a ball and threw it on the floor.
"This is stupid!"
Nikaido sulked and crossed his arms. Senga tried not to laugh but a smile formed on his face.
"Come here, I'll teach you."
Senga grabbed Nikaido's hands and put some purple paper in them. He started folding his silver square showing Nikaido every passage and helping him with the most difficult folds.
Nikaido stared at Senga's perfect silver crane. Then he looked at his purple one. It was a bit crinkled and crooked. Not at all perfect.
"I made it. I mean... It's terrible but..." Nikaido said grimacing.
"Well done Nika-chan!" Senga blurted, overexcited.
"Still, it's terrible!"
Senga smiled.
"Breakfast?"
Some week later Nikaido happened to sleep at Senga's again. He couldn't help but smile seeing Senga didn’t throw away his purple crane, instead he was keeping it on a shelf, like it was something worth looking at when you entered his room.
