Finally, Answers. Well, not really, but almost.

After much to-ing and fro-ing, we finally heard back from the paediatrician. To cut a long (and irritating) story short, he believes Freddy may be cow's milk protein intolerant, and recommended we try soy milk. No tests or results though, since he a) hadn't ordered any before and b) told us they were unreliable

It's ridiculous that it took them that long to work it out. Did you ever take it up with your local PALS? You should definitely complain to the trust. Glad it's sorted though :)

Good to hear you guys finally got an answer, but you'd think they'd treat a sick baby with a bit more urgency. I hope Jen doesn't feel too disappointed about the breastfeeding - I think she did great to manage it for this long! Most of the mothers I've known have had a lot of trouble with it and had to switch to formula (or a combination of the two) pretty quickly.
