Cheers! We're still waiting on the final paperwork, blahblahblah, and it could fizzle out if something daft comes up (like there's a coalmine underneath it). But yeah... fairly positive so far!

I suspect we will be doing a similar thing when we move to Cuba next year. Are you getting rid of the creepy tampon mice?

I think they vanished a couple of years ago, at least.

For the moment, you're still fine to come up - the estate agent is pretty optimistic about moving dates but I doubt we'll actually be able to move with that short a notice!

That's what I thought, but I realise how chaotic it is to have guests when you're trying to pack.

I can't really imagine things being much more chaotic than they are with a 7-month old. Unless there were two 7-month-olds.

Having an extra pair of hands might actually help ;)

When I moved in a week I threw out any box I hadn't opened in a year. Yes, later I realized I wanted some of the stuff for sentimental value. But I really haven't missed it.

That's sort of the way that I'm leaning... Fresh start, blank slate, scrap the crap. Probably. Maybe.
