Saturday Solstice

I'm so glad that Solstice is officially on Saturday this year. Every year, I make a big breakfast with OJ and cinnamon rolls etc. to welcome in the sun . . . . and then I have to rush everyone off to school. It always seems so unfair. This will be so great that we actually have the day OFF!

I just mentioned that to my husband this morning, our big holiday party is on the Solstice- I was so happy!

Though little Elora was fussy during the ceremony (she got the damn flu shot this week) we had a very nice yule. My husband fed her during the ceremony which helped. She is currently the only child in the coven but thankfully the other folks were not bothered at all. They understood she wasn't quite feeling well and they love her anyhow. I hope you all had a nice Yule....
