Overtime all things change and we adapt.

How has your pagan beliefs and practices changed over time and what prompted these changes? for instance have you moved from an eclectic form of paganism to a more reconstructionist path (or vice versa) or changed the deities you focused on?

My practice has changed quite a bit. I started off Wiccan but then found that didn't entirely fit me as I was mainly a goddess worshipper. Today I identify as a Pagan and a witch. I do not yet refer to myself as a priestess, I don't feel I've reached that level yet.

My practice has also changed because for the longest time I didn't have a matron or patron deity. I worked with several and had never dedicated myself to one in particular. That has definitely changed as I have now dedicated myself to Brigid~

I have moved from Wicca to Eclecticism, because I didn't feel connected to the God and Goddess nor the ceremonial style of magic/ritual used.

As an Eclectic I studied everything and anything from Satanism to Buddhism to various styles of Traditional Witchcraft. I wasn't finding my niche and gave up for a while.

While I was dealing with a miserable long-term relationship I had an encounter with Freyja that lead me to research the Norse Gods, who I'd previously shied away from. That lead me to Asatru and Heathenry. I think here is where I've found my niche (over a decade later) , though I'm still working out the kinks. I've no issue with the religion, it's just some of the community I'm having problems with.

I moved from Wicca to Druidry/Celtic practices to Heathenry. Then I decided I was a multitraditionalist/eclectic. I focus mainly on Heathenry but I do acknowledge Welsh/Gaulish deities (a few Celtic as well), Finnish deities and a few random ones that have caught my attention over time (Apollo, Isis). I am not saying Wicca is bad, it just wasn't for me. Heathenry made so much more sense to me because of my background, but I still have the tug of the Celto-Gallic and the Finnish as well as gods who have contacted me in the past (Like Isis & Apollo).

I was trained as a Traditional Initiatory Witch in Wiccan clothing, then cast off the Wiccan guise for straight Celtic Trad Witchery. I am now studying Hinduism, so I consider myself a Drindu.
