Paganism is a belief that divinity is as diverse as we are.

I am especially interested in the gods of my Irish heritage.

1. Pagan is a Christian word that simply means 'not Christian', but in the modern day the term, which is a shortening of 'neo-paganism', has come to envelop religions that are mostly derived from ancient polytheistic and animistic religions such as ancient greece, egypt and from ancient norse and celtic peoples. Usually they are re-interpreted according to the individual practising them, but a few groups endeavour to historically reconstruct the ancient practises. Also, while Wicca is technically included in the term 'Pagan', it is itself a recognised religion in America and other countries, whereas other forms of paganism are not officially or legally recognised; hence, it is useful to separate Wicca from other forms of unrecognised paganism when speaking of rights and commonalities, since Wicca is more organised than other forms of neo-paganism.

2. I am a Taoist Slytherin in life philosophy, and worship my interpretation and experience of the Ancient Greek gods (chiefly Hermes). I also take the western zodiac very seriously.
