Some of the worst, Sabrina, Twitches, and anything else that's "Hollywood Witches," since it removes religion entirely.
In the "OK but could be better" category, Buffy/Angel!verse, Charmed, and even "The Craft," because bless 'em, they tried, and I think these three shows/movies have lead a decent number of honest seekers to their path.
The best: the original version of "The Wicker Man" with Christopher Lee (who incidentally did not get paid for the role and said of it, "some things you do for love"), and the YA book series "Circle of Three" by Isobel Bird.
I love that book series! I got hooked on it when it first came out~ :D
Charmed...I don't know that I'd even put it in the Ok category. I mean, I'm a fan of the show but that's because I watched it in my teens and it's more of a comfort thing to me now. I know the sisters better than my own family sometimes. But they live by the rules of "no personal gain" (which isn't a real "law" in Wicca or Paganism) and they use the names of deities as names for demons.
That being said though, Charmed did help me a bit. I came to the Pagan path just before the show was first aired and it did help me feel like I wasn't the only one in the world into that sort of thing~
But yes, I definitely agree with the Circle of Three being about the best representation of Paganism out there. Atleast that I've come across...
Supernatural is a great show(yes, it is, no really), but it's representation of Pagans (and especially Pagan dieties) is down right insulting. Of course, I've heard Christians(/Toaists, Voodoo practionners/Hindus) aren't too pleased with the depictions of their faiths either.
I actually liked the depiction of Paganism in True Blood, specifically Mary Ann and her worship of Dionysis. It wasn't what I'd call a nice look at Pagainsm, but it had a feel to it. I'm not explaining it well, but theres a certain essence to the faith that I think was captured.
