jack has chickenpox. i feel awful for him cos hes itchy and cranky from it and obviously not feeling very good. i think im a lousy mum, because i didnt recognise it even though ive seen chickenpox before ive had it when a kid and ive seen both of my sisters kids catch it when they were little

at least jack is getting it over with early in life. don't beat yourself up about not recognizing the pox its hard to figure these things out sometimes.

I agree with gwensmom. It can be tough with those little ones, trying to figure out what's going on! You are most definitely NOT a bad mommy! :-)

Oh hon {{{{{hugs}}}}} There isnt really any treatment anyway apart from Calamine lotion or similar to help with the itching.... Dont be so down on yourself ok :o)

My lot all had it in 1993 (i know that as DD had her first birthday covered in spots). First one got it and then when his had cleared up, the other one got it, then me & DD got it.... I was in a terrible state...ive still got the scars! GRRRRRRR lol

He'll be as right as rain soon :o)
