I grew up on this band, and Kevin Dubrow had such an awesome voice! Quiet Riot has always been a favorite of mine. Rest in peace, old friend! I will light a candle for you!

Oh thank you Jen for posting... I did not hear about this.
I went to some pretty major concerts JUST because
Quiet Riot was the opening band.... they were CLEARLY one of
my most favorite and most played....
In fact, I was THRILLED to no end a few weeks ago
because 98 Rock played Slick Black Cadillac...
One of my favorite songs ...

I know what you mean!!! While I never got to see them live, I was an avid fan, and even wore a Quiet Riot patch on my jean jacket back then! He will be missed...but I also envision him and Randy Rhodes partying up there in the great sky of Rock and rollers!
