ROUND 01 - PRELIMINARIES VOTING
Welcome to page_battle's Round 01:Preliminaries voting time! All participants are expected to vote if possible, however it is not compulsary in any case.
Voting for both the Senior League and Junior League are in this post, take note! So if you can, try to vote for both? It helps to JL-ers improve more too. :)
VOTING RULES & INFORMATION
- Only one vote per person! Don't make fake accounts to vote, or your votes will be nullified (and if you're a participating member, you'll be disqualified! D:)
- Critiquess are necessary. We're aiming to help everyone here to improve - in the most positive way possible. They don't need to be too long unless you feel you have a lot to advice.
- Try to vote fairly, and based on the aesthetic quality rather than your personal preferences. For example, you do not vote like this: 'I hate this series/texture/etc! I think I know who's the colorer, and I hate that person too!' If that ever happens, I'll throw out your votes when tallying.
- Make sure you've picked the right number shown on the voting table. I'll try to check every vote to make sure it matches the icons, but please be careful!
- You do not need to be a participating member to vote. Anyone can vote, so please vote and encourage others to do the same!
- All votes are to submitted to this post only.
- Do not vote for yourself.
- There will be no eliminations this week, for both JL and SL.
- It is highly appreciated if you could vote for both leagues, but it is not compulsary.
- You are to vote for a minimum of two favourites and a maximum of three favourites for each league.
- General comments are optional.
- Finally, voting order is very important! Please list your favourites in priority, as it will affect the points given to each participant!
- There will be two People's Choice and one Moderator's Choice for each league; so totalling 6 possible winners this week!

ROUND 01 : PRELIMINARIES
For the first round, all participants were asked to colour one page, which had to be a chapter cover page of a shounen manga. Pages with slight narrator-style text were allowed - all pages were given the minimum dimensions of 400x600 to follow. All cover pages are the ones with chapter titles on it originally. Participants were told to give B&W original scans also so that voters can perceive the difference. PLEASE CLICK THE THUMBNAILS TO VIEW THE ENTIRE PAGE. Regarding #10 - it's only on because the participant didn't resubmit on time, and I'm not going to disqualify a JL-er so fast. This is as Genshiken is a seinen manga, but the participant couldn't be reached to change her page in time.
All votes should be in by the 18th March, 8pm, GST +8. There may be a notice sent out on the 17th if the participant, who has been delayed due to image hosting problems, manages to submit on time, otherwise that participant is considered disqualified.
