OOHH SHINY. That was supremely awesome and wonderful and Neil Gamain, you have made me quite happy ^_^.

random things:

"I like biting - It's like kissing, but with a winner."

Old Console!

Disembodied Michael Sheen!

I could say more, but really, there's no need.

(BTW, I totally thought Gaiman's ep would be the one with the weird mask people. Apparently I ( Read more... )

Oh, yes! The entire episode is just absolutely lovely. Can we keep Gaiman? Pretty please?

I actually found it really difficult to follow! The dialogue was just so scattered - for everyone, not just the TARDIS. Her scattered dialogue fit perfectly and was totally in character and I LOVED her, but everything else seemed to follow suit and it made the whole episode just... jumbled. It was more jumbled than epic.

But that aside, the concept of meeting the TARDIS in person (literally) was fantastic. I adored seeing her and the Doctor interact. Their relationship was just so perfect.

Eh, there's a different version of "coherent" for everyone, I guess! :)

The part that threw me in this one was mostly the boxes of Time Lord distress messages and the fact that the Doctor believed they could be living Time Lords. He's normally so cautious and skeptical. Anyway, the possible existence of more Time Lords came out of left field and was explained away by "oh, we're not in the Doctor Who universe anymore. That's why it's okay." Suddenly we're allowed to do that?

It was a nice experiment (and again, I LOVED the TARDIS), but I'll stick to Neil's short stories and normal Doctor Who.

Yeah, I definitely dismissed the bubble universe thing as doctor who flim-flam (though that's two parallel universe-ish references in two episodes...ok, I'll stop speculating now). I've noticed the doctor tends to get much less cautious and reasonable where other time lords are concerned.

Definitely the best part was the Tardis - she was fantastic :)

And also (off-topic) are you planning to come to the ASA reunion next Saturday, 4-7pm? I posted the info on Facebook, but let me know if you can't find it.

$25 or $40 with a guest. You can pay on the goASA.org website under Student Fees.

I'd love to see you there!

I was planning on coming...and then discovered it was the same weekend as PHX Comicon and I already had my ticket. Otherwise I definitely would have been there!

I'm going to both! Surely you can take a few hours off to walk a few blocks down to the reunion, even if there are a couple good panels at that time?

Will you be at the Con all weekend? I'll be there all day Friday and Sunday at my sister's booth in the Artists' Alley (we'll be right in front of / opposite the celebrity meet-n-greet booths), the I'll be there most of Saturday except for the reunion. from 4-7.

I'll see what I can do! And I'll definitely come by Courtney's booth - one of my friends also has a booth so I'll be in that general area as well :)
