AWWWWWWWW. This could really develop into something. I can totally identify with Sehun though. My parents were so controlling over everything I did in high school, then college happened. When I finally had control over some parts of my life, I lost it. It was too much. I'm just going to imagine that Selu end up together after this hahah `xP

it's part of a larger AU, so sehun and lu han are pals from here on out! lu han is actually straight in this AU, lol, so unfortunately your dreams of selu will have to remain dreams... and besides, sehun is painfully in love with jongin, haha.

my mom was never really controlling, but i was extremely type A and burned myself out HARD in college. it's a weird time of your life.

thanks for reading, glad you enoyed this! :)

This is so sweet and platonic Hunhan works pretty well. I love how their relationship grows as Lu Han gets a feeling of responsibility for Sehun, it's super cute.
Now I'll wait for more and hope for Sehun to call Lu Han hyung...

I honestly love platonic hunhan the best because their relationship was always so rooted is sehun clearly looking up to lu han and lu han looking after sehun and I think this story really is laying the foundation for that kind of relationship very clearly and very well. It's just very..... heart-warming to watch lu han begin to genuinely care for sehun in this fic and learn to approach him in a way that actually helped, and sehun begin to slowly learn to open up to lu han and accept that help. and I loved when jongdae had to remind lu han about his own burnout semester/year because we all have at least one of them and they're hard and for some reason the first reaction is always to wallow and succumb and suffer in silence (well until the eventual huge blow out). I'm glad lu han managed to pick up on it and help sehun circumvent that 'massive blow out' stage and, it looks like, at least get him pointed in the right direction to start piecing himself back together ( ... )

yeah, i can never really stomach sehan in a romantic sense, but as a big brother/little brother relationship it's super cute. ;~~;

i loved writing those scenes with jongdae and lu han. i've been that burnout (minus the family issues) and it's not a fun position to be in. but jongdae is fun, he's always keeping it real in this AU, haha.

thanks so much for this lovely comment, it really brightened my day to read it. :) thanks for reading!!
