With all due respect, I'll happily live with my irritability, depression and occasional bouts of acne (as I have been doing for the past 15 years) if the alternative is to curb my sex drive!

Interesting, though- I for one would be interesting in reading about other herbs in future.

I USED to be used for that but not anymore, I should probably rewrite that bit, not sure how to word it though :/

It's a balancer, so if you have a low labido, it'll raise it and visa versa - back to what's right for your body (homeostatis FTW!).

I've done a few already I'll stick em up later.

If it's what's right for you then vitex wouldn't change it :o) if you did start taking it and found it declined, take some siberian ginseng and it'll perk you right up ;o)

Um, there's quite a large explaination on how it effects the endocrine system, it balances everything.

Do you still believe that epileptics are possessed by the devil? That's an traditional belief too.

But people used to believe that, just as people just to believe vitex lowered sex drive.

As I said to Carrie, I've been on it for over a month and it hasn't knocked mine but it has improved my nasty hormonal effects associated with PMT.
