Today Greg asked me a question about my weekend with usy people. Followed by him saying "wow, I haven't seen your face light up like that in the longest time." Upon me inquiring further, he adds "I don't know. You just haven't smiled like that in weeks...maybe months. You're smile has just been different

I know I say this with basically everything I comment, but our lives are ridiculously parallel. My friend said that I haven't looked truly happy in a while (except when I'm with Craig, naturally), and after I came home from BBYO this weekend, I was glowing. There's so much more to a life outside of high school that people don't realize, and the fact that you've got a few people that get you (Dan, your USY friends, etc.) is truly a blessing that not many people get to ever experience. They know you and love you for who you are, and once you're in college and have the ability to choose your friends from a greater sea of people, I'm sure you'll find people who give you that same glow. In the meantime, though, you need to take the good with the bad and focus on the positive ( ... )
