Careful with the oral morphine. Peter took it first called Harlan Ellison and chatted at him a bit until Harlan convinced him to give me the phone and then wanted to call his ex wife to blow rasberries at her. I took away his phone privilages after that.

He said it was really weird. It didn't kill the pain but he didn't care about it anymore so it worked but not how they thought it was going to work.

Oral morphine who knew?! You're kidding, right. Answer -- the 4-yrs certified hospice nurse who specializes in pain management FOR A LIVING knew. Not that you were listening ...

Those of us who have had loved ones who battled cancer knew.

Morphine, if it works for you, will be a huge blessing. I hope you're not in the minority for whom it turns on the psycho-screaming-irrational-bitchies. My mother can't go near the stuff. For me, it was what WORKED after my thyroid was removed.

Best of luck with pain relief, but more importantly, BETTER luck stopping the effects of that damned medication.
