'The' death, or death in general? Generally, people return a day after they die. I don't know much more about it than that. The scientists are the ones that bring people back, and they wake up in the hospital.

The hospital itself is dangerous; most people don't spend more time in there than is necessary. It's primarily inhabited by monsters which look as if they were once nurses. I don't know if there is anything of use in the hospital.

I believe there's a clinic based at the high school.
