I'm considering shutting down my livejournal account since I never really use it. I was going to start really using it, but god knows I'm just a liar and won't. I might keep it since I mainly use Livejournal for my resources, but I'm not sure really. Plus, I have to finish my post to Naplasha, since I still want to make icons and all ( Read more... )

I'm here to give my objective opinion because I don't care whether you leave or not; in the long run it's up to you. But here's my .002¢ anyway.

Shutting down your livejournal because you never really use it is pointless, and stupid. I know people who only update two or three times a year, but they still kept their journals. You don't have to update to justify keeping your account.
If you want to still make icons, then keep your journal. You may need it in the future -- who knows. Throwing something away on a whim just because of some trivial reason is just dripping with ineptitude.
Plus, it seems you have some friends here.

Think it through.
